Jessica Lee is an award-winning content strategist and professional writer who's been in the business of content and communications since 2005, with the better part of her career focused on the digital marketing space.
In 2013, she launched bizbuzzcontent Inc. to fill the growing demand for quality business content and help companies achieve their business and marketing goals through content.
In her role as chief creative at bizbuzzcontent, she oversees all content strategy and content creation for the company. Jessica not only creates high-level content for clients but also manages a team of talented writers who provide quality content to our client base.
Prior to launching bizbuzzcontent, Jessica headed up the content department at a global SEO agency. There, she helped the agency successfully launch and implement a content service line for companies of all sizes.
Before that, Jessica managed an in-house marketing department for a national staffing company, where she successfully helped transition 15 brands from offline to digital marketing. She also spent time as a contributing writer for a national lifestyle magazine.
Jessica contributed to the book "Search Engine Optimization All-in-One For Dummies," and has also written for various industry-specific publications such as the Content Marketing Institute, Search Engine Watch and Bruce Clay blog, in addition to creating online courses on content marketing for MarketingProfs University and Online Marketing Institute.
Jessica's writings have also been featured in college syllabi, including the college textbook, "Reading and Writing About Contemporary Issues."
In 2015, Jessica received the Microsoft MVP award as a result of content strategy training she facilitated for a Microsoft team.
Katie Mitchell is a content writer who's been creating print and web content for the health, hospitality, tech, legal and many other industries since 2006.
At bizbuzzcontent, Katie has contributed blogs, website and ebook content, managed social media posts and created images for our various clients.
In addition to experience at bizbuzz, Katie's previous roles include content writing for Expedia.com, news writing for Mercy Health and marketing writing for iONXHOLDINGS. She's also worked with a wide range of her own clients as a freelancer, writing about topics including renewable energy, nutrition, floral design, home restoration, legal representation and more.
Katie graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in writing, minor in history and an emphasis in the cultures around death and dying. During school she participated in the student arts and writing journal and a student reading series, receiving honorable mention for one of her creative pieces.
In addition to reading and writing, Katie enjoys cooking, travel, yoga, the beaches of Lake Michigan, Irish music and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and two children. She hopes to someday embark on a range of culinary and hiking tours around the U.S. and Europe.
